With its SS24 Collection, Marimekko reimagines the stripe through an array of joyful tones, modern silhouettes, and unexpected formats. From wide strips of color overlaid with floral patterns to pinstripes, tonal ribbed knits and more, the collection offers endless variations on this timeless motif.
Marimekko classics, such as the iconic Jokapoika button-down, meet contemporary favorites like the Kahlaus Skirt and Markkinat Dress, merging unexpected color combinations to create a dynamic composition. This season also welcomes the introduction of a new category for Marimekko: Ribbed knit sweaters and dresses, which offer a textural play on the classic stripe.
The collection's vibrant palette is inspired by the original colorways of the brand's iconic Unikko print, featuring harmonious tones of Dijon brown and antique white with prism pink, tangerine, and sodalite. The SS24 Collection is a celebration of Unikko's 60th anniversary year.
