New Swimwear from Marimekko's SS24 Collection

As 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of Marimekko’s most iconic and globally recognized print, Unikko, the iconic floral design is celebrated in the Spring/Summer 2024 collection in more ways than ever, including scale, placement, coloring, and techniques.

From ombre Unikko abstractions to monochromatic mini floral prints, the swim collection balances protective, sun covering styles with strappy, easy to mix and match pieces.

Marimekko works tirelessly to incorporate more organic and recycled materials in its collections season after season, always keeping longevity in mind.  For Spring/Summer 2024, all swimwear pieces come in 78 percent ECONYL®, a recycled nylon material that is made entirely from ocean and landfill waste, such as fishing nets, industrial plastic, and fabric scraps.

The colors of the summer season include invigorating fuchsia, prism pink, tangerine, chlorophyll green, and sodalite, all of which are inspired by the original colorways of the Unikko print, first introduced by Maija Isola in the 1960’s.
